World Monuments Fund Britain complies with all data protection law and will ensure that it safeguards its records and data held on individuals. It will also ensure that all suppliers and sub-contractors, consultants are also compliant with the law and in the way that they handle and store information.
Individuals who apply to join World Monuments Fund Britain as supporters and who submit personal data e.g. name, address, email and telephone number will be asked if World Monuments Fund Britain may contact them by email with newsletters, general updates, and other relevant information. Supporters will receive a printed newsletter 3 to 4 times a year, which is a benefit of their subscription. Supporters can opt out of receiving the printed newsletter at any point by emailing the Membership and Events Officer on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Subscribers to our e-newsletter will be asked to positively state their preference to receive this communication.
All emails sent to subscribers will have an unsubscribe option and if actioned they will not be sent any further emails. The database will indicate the preference.

We collect the information to provide you with the services you have requested – e.g. to manage your subscription, event booking or let you know how your donation is to be spent.
We will not share your data with any organisation/third parties for marketing purposes.
We work alongside organisations who provide services for us – for example, the CAF that processes our online financial transactions and Blackbaud the company that manages our secure database. The organisations that provide these services meet high data security standards and will not use your data for anything other than the clear purposes of the service they are providing.
