UPDATE: We are very sorry to report that we’ve had to postpone today’s webinar on ‘The Battle to save Grimsby’s historic Kasbah and what happened next’ as our host, Crowdcast, is experiencing technical difficulties. Despite our best efforts we are not able to go ahead with the event and apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
We have decided to reschedule the event for tomorrow (16th July) at the same time 5pm (BST) and hope that you’ll be able to join us for this. You will still be able to join with the original link that you registered for – https://www.crowdcast.io/e/fw06dr94 and will not need to register again. If you are unable to join the webinar tomorrow it will be recorded and available to view at a later date.
Join SAVE Britain’s Heritage and World Monuments Fund Britain for a special live event, delving into the past, present and future of Grimsby’s historic Docks. Henrietta Billings, Director of SAVE and John Darlington, Executive Director of WMFB will reflect

subsequent creation of the new ‘Kasbah’ conservation area. They will be joined by Vicky Hartung, Chair of the Great Grimsby Ice Factory Trust – who will update us on key restoration and regeneration initiatives in the docks
This is a live event that is free and open to all and we ask that you consider making a contribution of £10 when you register to ‘Save my spot!’ Contributions made during the event will be split to support SAVE Britain’s Heritage and their Fighting Fund and World Monuments Fund Britain’s project work and associated activities.
